Effects of the sun on the skin are cumulative; people regularly exposed can see signs appear, from wrinkles and brown spots, to derma affections causing modifications of collagen fibers (sun elastosis). Collagen gives flexibility to the skin … Unfortunately, over time, we have less and less of it and, the more we are exposed to the sun, the more our skin dehydrates and ages.

Aloe Vera, a natural soothing agent, rapidly penetrates tissues. It reduces the localized temperature augmentation generated by sun exposition. It is traditionally used in intensively sunny countries to soothe « skin fire », calm down itching, favour defensive and protection processes such as the natural pH of the skin.
Shea is composed of many elements, which contribute to its remarkable physiological activity toward skin protection, and for its regeneration. Its cinnamic esters absorb UVB rays of the sun and are very effective soothing agents. Shea also prevents skin reactions to the sun. Antioxidant action, the slowing down of cellular aging effects, is assured by its vitamin E, A, B, C and D, while karitene offers a natural protection against sun.
Musk Rose oil, extracted from seeds in the Wild Rose fruit, contains a huge proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids, which intervene in cellular regeneration and contribute to membrane flexibility and elasticity. This highly regenerating property makes this oil an excellent asset in the fight against the effects of aging skin. Musk Rose oil also helps to repair skin due to its vitamin A acid, retinol, which has proven its affinity to and effectiveness for the epidermis. It supports cellular cohesion and restores flexibility and tonicity to the skin. It is particularly recommended to hydrate and revitalize dry and damaged skin, to repair areas that have deteriorated, and to prevent the appearance of wrinkles.
Apricot oil, made from apricot pit, is particularly rich in unsaturated fatty acids (89%-96%), notably in oleic and linoleic. It nourishes and hydrates superficial layers of the epidermis. Particularly useful for dry and damaged skin, it is an excellent anti-wrinkle, which preserves elasticity and flexibility of stressed or aggressed skin by free radical damage. Apricot pit oil is reputed and long been used notably in hunza populations, whom barely know of wrinkles, even amongst their most aged subjects, and despite the altitude of their villages which are submitted to high levels of sun rays.
The synergy of these precious oils in this rich all-natural emulsion (guaranteed free of paraben or other additives), makes of DERMOPHYTUM® Hydrating Milk a beautifully effective product for the face and body.
