L-5-HTP (L-5-Hydroxytryptophan) (Griffonia simplicifolia) (seed) : 50 mg

Microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate, carbohydrate gum (cellulose), coating (carbohydrate gum [cellulose ], glycerin), vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Description

HappySense 5-HTP naturally enhances serotonin levels, which in turn helps promote healthy mood balance, relieves symptoms of fibromyalgia, and reduces the severity and duration of migraine headaches when taken as a preventative. 5-HTP can also be used as a sleep aid. With a program of reduced intake of dietary calories and increased physical activity, 5-HTP can help in weight management by reducing carbohydrate cravings.

Dose

Recommended adult dose: Healthy mood balance: 1–2 caplets 3times daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. To minimize the risk of gastrointestinal side effects, start dosing at 100mg 2–3times daily and slowly increase to effective dose over a period of 2weeks. Use for at least 1week to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 1year. Relief of symptoms of fibromyalgia: 2caplets 3–4times daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. To minimize the risk of gastrointestinal side effects, start dosing at 100mg 2–3times daily and slowly increase to effective dose over a period of 2weeks. Use for at least 2weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 1year. Migraine prophylaxis:2caplets 2–3times daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. To minimize the risk of gastrointestinal side effects, start dosing at 100mg 2–3times daily and slowly increase to effective dose over a period of 2weeks. Use for at least 2–3weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 1year. Weight management:5caplets 3times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take 30minutes prior to a meal. To minimize the risk of gastrointestinal side effects, start dosing at 100mg 2–3times daily and slowly increase to effective dose over a period of 2weeks. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 12weeks. Sleep aid: 2–4caplets daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take 30–45minutes before bedtime.
