    Sinus Forte contains Golden Rod, Eyebright, Echinacea, Golden Seal and Cayenne.

    Used in Herbal Medicine to help fight off infections, especially of the upper respiratory tract.

    Supportive therapy in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections (e.g. common colds )

    Ingredients

    SERVING SIZE: 1 TABLET / AMOUNT PER SERVING
    Solidago virgaurea (Golden Rod) herb 1:2 extract DHE 650mg
    Euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright) herb 1:2 extract DHE 650mg
    Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea) root 1:2 extract DHE 370mg
    Hydrastis canadensis (Golden Seal) root and rhizome 1:3 extract DHE 125mg
    Capsicum annuum (Cayenne) fruit 1:3 extract DHE 10mg

    Description

    Sinus Forte combines the herbs Eyebright, Golden Rod, Echinacea root, Golden Seal and Cayenne. These five powerful herbs contain iridoid glycosides (especially aucubin), saponins, flavonoids, diterpenoid lactones, caffeic acid derivatives (especially cichoric acid), alkylamides, alkaloids (especially hydrastine and berberine), pungent principles (particularly capsaicin), carotenoids and other compounds.

    Dose

    Adults: 1 tablet 3 to 4 times daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. Take at the first sign of infection. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.

    Potential side effects/Safety

    Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking immunosuppressant medication (eg transplant patients). Short-term therapy only is suggested in this instance. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking theophylline as Cayenne may increase its absorption and bioavailability. Cayenne may interact with ACE inhibitors. Use with caution in the first trimester of pregnancy. Discontinue 7 days prior to general anesthesia.
