The herbs used in Fem-Matrix™ have a long history of use for the prevention and treatment of menopausal and perimenopausal symptoms, mainly hot flushes. While Black Cohosh, Dong Quai, Chasteberry, Wild Yam, and Red Clover extracts have estrogen-like effects, Hesperidin and Quercetin reduce the loss of endogenous estrogen, which is associated with the symptoms.

St. John's Wort Extract (flower head)
(Hypericum perforatum)(.3% hypericin) 30 mg
Red Clover (flowering top) 10:1 Extract (Trifolium pretense) 20 mg
120 vegetarian capsules
Take 2 capsules twice daily or as recommended by practitioner.
Cautions and Warnings: If menstruation is delayed or absent, or if you experience increased menstrual bleeding time, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking hormone-containing medications such as progesterone preparations, oral contraceptives, birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have family history of cancer. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder or develop symptoms of liver trouble. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light (UV) or UV therapy. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking anti-anxiety medications, seizure medications, antihistamines, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants and/or opiates. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to sue if you taking any prescription medications.
Contra-Indications: Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use this product if you have allergy/hypersensitivity to members of the Apiaceae/Umbelliferae family (anise, caraway, carrot, celery, dill, parsley). Do not use this product if you have diarrhoea, haemorrhagic diseases, or hypermenorrhoea/profuse menstrual flow/heavy periods. Do not use if you are taking anti-cancer medications, blood thinners/antidepressants medications (e.g selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI)), anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular medications, immunosuppressants, and/or contraceptive medications.
Known Adverse Reactions: If you experience breast pain, discomfort and/or tenderness, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Hypersensitivity, such as an allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea, restlessness and/or headaches.
