Ingredients

Each 1/8 tsp (0.5 g) contains:
Mixed Carotenoids 5000 IU providing
Beta Carotene 3350 IU
Alpha Carotene 1650 IU
Other Carotenoids (gamma carotene and lycopene) 40 IU
Lemon Bioflavonoids 445 mg

Description

Beta carotene is a non-toxic precursor of vitamin A. It increases visual acuity and is beneficial for night blindness, photosensitivity and leukoplakia. Its immune enhancing and antioxidant properties are beneficial in cancer and cardiovascular disease.

Dose

1 serving (0.5 g) 2-3x daily or as directed.

Potential side effects/Safety

Some studies on beta carotene may suggest an association with increased risk of lung and prostate cancer in people who smoke.
