Each 1/8 tsp (0.5 g) contains:
Horse Chestnut 20% 500 mg

Description

Horse chestnut is used for chronic venous insufficiency, hemorrhoids and varicose veins. It relieves fluid accumulation, edema and may be useful in phlebitis. Aescin is anti-inflammatory and helps to reduce post-traumatic edema.

Quantity

30 g

Dose

1 serving (500 mg) 1-2x daily or as directed.

Potential side effects/Safety

Caution in diabetes, GI irritation, latex allergy, liver and kidney disease. Avoid in pregnancy. Generally well tolerated. Moderate interaction with anticoagulant, and antidiabetic drugs. Additional drug interactions may exist.
