Adults: Take 1-2 ml (30-60 drops) 3 times daily in a little water on an empty stomach. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or health products.
Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 7 days.
Do not use: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have abdominal pain, nausea, fever, vomiting, haemorrhoids; if you have a chronic gastrointestinal disorder, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhoea; if you are taking Digoxin.
Cautions and Warnings: Laxative effect may occur. Discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhoea. Consult a health care practitioner before use: if you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; if you are taking immunosuppressants, cardiac medications such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications; if you have faecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever; if you have a kidney disorder, an autoimmune disorder, a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection. Consult a health care practitioner, if symptoms worsen or persist .
Known Adverse Reactions: Hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. allergy) have been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
