Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice Root / Radix Glycyrrhizae)... 300 mg
Sus scrofa (Spleen Extract)... 150 mg
L-Glutamine [(S)-2,5-Diamino-5-oxopentanoic acid]... 100 mg
Althaea of cinalis (Marshmallow Root / Radix Althaeae)... 50 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Hypromellose (vegetarian sourced encapsulating agent), Calcium carbonate.

Description

LitisTM is an innovative natural health product developed by Alpha Science LaboratoriesTM which is formulated to support the gastrointestinal (GI) health through supporting the GI mucosal immune system. LitisTM contains bioactive peptides derived from the spleen of Sus scrofa (domestic hog), in combination with L-glutamine and medicinal herbs to support GI health.

Dose

Adults: Take 1 capsule twice per day with food or as directed by your health care practitioner. Take it a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.

Potential side effects/Safety

Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4-6 weeks.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney/cardiovascular disorder; taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are following a low protein diet or have a liver disorder. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
