Indications

The primary action of this formula is to reduce the acute and chronic pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis while stimulating the formation of cartilage for effective joint repair.

Ingredients

Medicinal Ingredients per 1 capsule:
D-Glucosamine Sulfate (Shellfish exoskeletons) … 500 mg
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) … 500 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypromellose (vegetarian capsule shell).

Description

This product contains 500mg of fully bioactive D-Glucosamine Sulphate. The D isomer is important because it is the only form incorporated into the body's tissues. Other glucosamine products will normally contain roughly equal amounts of d and L forms due to processing limitations from the raw source. The purity of the d-glucosamine sulphate used is guaranteed to be the purest available, greater than 98.9%. It is sodium free and no magnesium stearate has been used during processing.

MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) is an effective anti-inflammatory and pain reliever attributed to its efficiency as a sulphur donor. Sulphur is required for the formation of the extracellular matrix integral to cartilage formation and restoration.

Potential side effects/Safety

Caution: Stomach upsets have been reported as an infrequent side effect of pure glucosamine sulphate. Taking this product with meals will diminish this effect.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Some people may experience mild gastrointestinal bloating, constipation or indigestion. Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.
