Description

Lion’s Mane is a mushroom with great medicinal properties. It improves cognition, improves anxiety and depression, protects against stomach ulcers and has anti-aging and anti-cancer properties. It stimulate nerve growth factor (NGF) production, a neurotrophin, a small secreted protein that is essential for the growth, maintenance, proliferation and survival of neurons. Lion’s Mane can regenerate damaged cells, beneficial for mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease. Must be taken over long time to see results.

1 serving (1 capsule) 1-2x daily or as directed.

Potential side effects/Safety

Most sources indicate no contraindications; however, it should be noted that Lion’s Mane may stimulate Th1 immune response, so should be avoided in Th1-dominant autoimmune conditions. Generally well tolerated. Drug interactions may exist.
