Description

Natural Factors Ubiquinol Active CoQ10 contains the same active form of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) produced by our cells, making it significantly better absorbed. Ubiquinol offers the same broad-ranging benefits but with enhanced absorption to yield higher concentrations in the blood.

CoQ10 is a vitamin-like nutrient that helps maintain cardiovascular health and provides antioxidants for the maintenance of good health. It is an essential component of the electron transport chain that generates energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) within our cells. Maintaining adequate CoQ10 levels is critical to the health of all tissues and organs, especially the high energy demands of the heart.

As we age, the body’s ability to make CoQ10 declines. Furthermore, some health conditions and the use of certain medications are associated with greater CoQ10 depletion, further increasing the need for food and supplementary sources.
