Ingredients

Each tablet contains:
Iron (*HVP chelate) : 25 mg
*HVP: Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein

Dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Description

Iron is a trace mineral found in hemoglobin and myoglobin, proteins present in red blood cells and muscle cells that carry oxygen to produce energy and remove waste carbon dioxide. Iron is also needed for the function of enzymes involved in energy production and is important for growth.

Poor iron status adversely effects overall health by reducing the energy available for essential metabolic processes. The demand for iron increases with pregnancy and breastfeeding, intensive exercise, and heavy blood loss.

Natural Factors Iron Chelate 25 mg is a factor in the formation and proper function of red blood cells. It helps prevent iron deficiency anemia and maintain good health.
