Description
Therapeutic actions: • Fagus sylvatica is a fibrosclerotic remedy of the respiratory and renal systems. • It also has powerful immuno-stimulant properties. • Antiallergenic and antihistaminic properties. Increases hepatic macrophage activity. • Reported to lower cholesterol, uric acid and urea.
Clinical indications: • Respiratory system: pulmonary fibrosis, emphysemea. • Renal system: nephroangiosclerosis, interstitial nephritis, renal insufficiency, renal lithiasis, uric lithiasis, used to lower uricemia and increase diuresis. • Immune system: Excellent in hypogammaglobulinemia increases immunoglobulin. Anergy, allergies. Infections. • Vascular system: Atheromatosis, reduces cholesterol, celiac disease when associated with low globulin.
Consider in combination with: • Juglans regia, when infection present • Ribes nigrum and Betula pubescens, antihistamine action for edema, cellulite, and excess weight accumulation • Corylus avellana, for emphysema or other issues of sclerotic tissue in the respiratory system • Rosa canina, for hypogammaglobulinemia

Dose
Adults and children > 12 years • Depending on the patient and the problem being treated, 5-10 drops daily are recommended. • To start with, 5 drops should be taken; this dose can be increased by one drop daily to reach a maximum of 15-20 drops daily, until the required and stable result is acquired. The dosage is then maintained for the remainder of the treatment period. • The length of the treatment depends on the health problem and the gemmotherapy remedy used. Normally it is recommended that the treatment be continued for three (3) months. The treatment should last for a minimum of three weeks and can be repeated several times, allowing for example a treatment-free week between each course. • One or two remedies, the most applicable, can be combined; more are not usually necessary. However, the complexes have the advantage of combining several extracts in one formula, thus facilitating the treatment. A complex may, if considered necessary, be combined with another complex or individual bud extract.

Clinical experience: • Is not prescribed for more than a 2 month period (may cause biological changes). • Use with caution in the presence of auto-immune diseases.
