• For women, related to reproductive organs in the pelvic region
• Antispasmodic
• Uterine tonic / reproductive tonic
• Hormonal regulation, specifically ovarian function; puberty, childbearing years, menopause
Rubus idaeus (Raspberry) young shoots
• Rubus idaeus helps to provide relief from menstrual problems, while harmonising hormone imbalance. It contributes to the well-being of women throughout the month.
• Main remedy for women, related to reproductive organs in the pelvic region:
Uterine tonic/reproductive tonic
Hormonal regulation, specifically ovarian function (by stimulating both the secretion of estrogens & progesterone, great regulator). With its hormonal action it reduces female pilosity.
Antispasmodic (Uterine).
Puberty / Childbearing years / Menopause (remarkable action).
• Works in anatomo-pathologic states characterised by fibro-sclerosis.
Clinical indications:
• Puberty: late onset of menses - amenorrhea / regulator of sexual pilosity (hypogonadism)
• Menopause / Peri-menopause: Its action is remarkable in feminine senescence, ovarian hyalinose, dysmenorrhoea, amenorrhoea, menorrhagia (endometrial hyperplasia), and hot flashes. Post-menopausal female atherosclerosis.
• Antispasmodic: Dysmenorrhea, PMS, delivery (regulates the force of contractions), it is also a general antispasmodic.
• Other: Menorrhagia & hematuria. Low libido, frigidity. Mastopathy, fibrocystic breast disease. Hirsutism. Ovarian hyalinosis, ovarian cyst. Chronic inflammations. Uterine fibroids. Endometriosis. Female hormonal exacerbated acne. Reduces hyperfolliculinic syndrome with water retention, possible “steroid like”.
• Respiratory: Rubus idaeus intervenes in allergies.
• Circulatory: atherosclerosis (fibro-sclerosis).
• Nervous system: Rubus idaeus exerts an antispasmodic action. It intervenes in the neuro-vegetative imbalance.
Consider in combination with:
• Cedrus libani, Ulmus campestris, acne
• Betula verrucosa sap, premenstrual retention of water
• Olea europaea, arteriosclerosis
• Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Rubus fructicosus, Viscum album, uterine fibroids
• Ribes nigrum, Alnus incana, ovarian cysts
• Ilex aquifolium, Betula verrucosa, Alnus incana, fibrocystic breasts
0.05 ml (extract 1:20 …. 2.5 mg )
Adults and children > 12 years
• Depending on the patient and the problem being treated, 5-10 drops daily are recommended.
• To start with, 5 drops should be taken; this dose can be increased by one drop daily to reach a maximum of 15-20 drops daily, until the required and stable result is acquired. The dosage is then maintained for the remainder of the treatment period.
• The length of the treatment depends on the health problem and the gemmotherapy remedy used. Normally it is recommended that the treatment be continued for three (3) months. The treatment should last for a minimum of three weeks and can be repeated several times, allowing for example a treatment-free week between each course.
• One or two remedies, the most applicable, can be combined; more are not usually necessary. However, the complexes have the advantage of combining several extracts in one formula, thus facilitating the treatment. A complex may, if considered necessary, be combined with another complex or individual bud extract.
Pregnant women should avoid taking bud extracts with hormonal action like Quercus robur (Oak), Rubus idaeus (Raspberry), Sequoia gigantea (Giant redwood), Vaccinium vitis-idaea (Cowberry).
