Rubus fructicosus (Bramble) young shoots
Therapeutic actions:
• Rubus fructicosus (Bramble young shoots): present in gemmotherapy a similarity with the properties of the leaves, used in classical phytotherapy, namely a pulmonary tropism.
• Tonic for long term use.
• This plant will restructure the degraded terrain (ecological & internal environment).
• Great remedy for the elderly.
• For degenerative conditions of the bone (enhance osteoblastic activity and slows the osteoclastic activity) Remedy for severe alterations in bony tissues. Activity on fibro-sclerotic tissues, effective in relieving bone and joint pain, in association.
• For pain (analgesic property).
• Anti-sclerotic (throughout the body).
• It would be interesting to compare the gemmotherapic properties of Rubus fructicosus and Vitis Vinifera (Grape Vine). These 2 plants have several common points in their type of development and their ecology. A great pulmonary remedy, we hypothesize that Rubus fructicosus is also a great future remedy for the skin.
Clinical indications:
• Respiratory: Emphysema, chronic bronchitis, pulmonary cystic fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis, scleroderma, and for all obstructive respiratory insufficiencies that lead to anergy.
• Musculoskeletal: Osteoporosis (osteoblastic action). Will strengthen the bone tissue (in particular at the femoro-tibial level), geriatric decalcification, confirmed degeneracy, arthrosis, painful decalcification bones and articular pain, fibromyalgia. Helps to consolidate, especially femoral / tibial bone. Arthrosis of the knee. Ankylosing spondylarthritis, rheumatoid polyarthritis, gonarthrosis (activity on fibrosclerotic tissues).
• Uro-genital: Uterine fibroids (fibro sclerotic tissues), sensitizes the uterus to the action of Vaccinum vitis Idaea, interstitial nephritis secondary to pyelonephritis in arterial hypertension, in confirmed degenerence, arthrosis elderly accompanied with osteoporosis, painful decalcification syndrome, bone and articular pain.
Consider in combination with:
• Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Sequoia gigantea for osteoporosis (Sequoia gigantea for men and Vaccinium vitis-idaea for women)
• Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Pinus montana, for osteoporosis
• Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Alnus incana, for uterine fibroids
• Corylus avellana, for chronic bronchitis and emphysema
0.05 ml (extract 1:20 …. 2.5 mg )
Adults and children > 12 years
• Depending on the patient and the problem being treated, 5-10 drops daily are recommended.
• To start with, 5 drops should be taken; this dose can be increased by one drop daily to reach a maximum of 15-20 drops daily, until the required and stable result is acquired. The dosage is then maintained for the remainder of the treatment period.
• The length of the treatment depends on the health problem and the gemmotherapy remedy used. Normally it is recommended that the treatment be continued for three (3) months. The treatment should last for a minimum of three weeks and can be repeated several times, allowing for example a treatment-free week between each course.
• One or two remedies, the most applicable, can be combined; more are not usually necessary. However, the complexes have the advantage of combining several extracts in one formula, thus facilitating the treatment. A complex may, if considered necessary, be combined with another complex or individual bud extract.
