SunActive < sup > ® < /sup > Iron (Ferric Pyrophosphate) : 20 mg

Xylitol, microcrystalline cellulose, natural tropical fruit flavour, citric acid, stearic acid, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), natural peach flavour, Stevia rebaudiana leaf.

Description

Natural Factors HemoFactors with SunActive is a great tasting chewable tablet that provides easily absorbable, non-irritating iron to help in the prevention of iron deficiency anemia. It is a factor in the maintenance of good health and helps with red blood cell formation.

Iron is a trace mineral found in hemoglobin and myoglobin, proteins present in red blood cells that carry oxygen producing energy and removing waste carbon dioxide. Iron is also needed for the function of enzymes involved in energy production. Poor iron status adversely effects overall health by reducing the energy available for essential metabolic processes.

The demand for iron increases with pregnancy and breastfeeding, intensive exercise, and heavy blood loss. HemoFactors is a highly bioavailable form of elemental iron, manufactured using a unique “Super Dispersion Technology”. Most forms of iron can cause constipation, but SunActive iron is known to be gentle on the stomach. HemoFactors has no iron taste and is offered in a convenient " one-per-day ", tasty fruit flavoured chewable tablet to enhance absorption.
