Fish oil concentrate (molecularly distilled, ultra purified) (anchovy, sardine, and/or mackerel) : 1170 mg
Omega-3 fatty acids : 630 mg
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) : 400 mg
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) : 200 mg

Description

Natural Factors RxOmega-3 Extra Strength is a pharmaceutical-grade fish oil providing a high potency of the long-chain omega-3 essential fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

EPA and DHA are considered essential because the body does not make them in sufficient quantities and they must be consumed through the diet for normal growth, development, and maintenance of good health. This extra-strength fish oil blend contains 400 mg of EPA and 200 mg of DHA per softgel in an optimal 2:1 ratio. It is a great choice for supporting cardiovascular and cognitive health, as well as for reducing serum triglycerides. DHA is particularly concentrated in areas of the brain responsible for learning, memory, and mood balance, while EPA helps reduce the pain of rheumatoid arthritis in conjunction with conventional therapy.

RxOmega-3 is made from a pure source of cold-water anchovy, sardine, and/or mackerel oils, which are natural sources of EPA and DHA. It is molecularly distilled and guaranteed pure and safe from environmental pollutants, such as mercury, pesticides, dioxins, and PCBs. The RxOmega-3 Enteripure® softgels offer targeted delivery using a technology that embeds pure and natural ingredients into the softgel casing to prevent them from breaking down in the stomach, ensuring no fishy aftertaste.
