Indications

• Used in herbal medicine to help relieve urological symptoms associated with mild-to-moderate BPH (enlarged prostate gland)
• Helps relieve urological symptoms of BPH, such as weak urine flow, incomplete voiding, and frequent daytime and nighttime urination
• Features 500 mg of saw palmetto extract per capsule

Ingredients

Each Capsule Contains:
Saw palmetto extract 2:1 (
Serenoa repens
) (fruit) (25% fatty acids) : 500 mg

Gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water), silica, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Description

Nearly every man over the age of 45 has some enlargement of the prostate gland, the small male sex glands that encircle the urethra. Enlargement and inflammation of the prostate can hinder urine flow and affect sexual function. Frequent nighttime urination, pain, burning and difficulty with urination are all symptoms of BPH. Conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone is a chemical reaction that contributes to prostate enlargement and its symptoms. Saw palmetto extract may inhibit this chemical reaction.
Although primarily used for prostate problems in men, this extract may also benefit women who have conditions caused by excess androgen, such as hirsutism (excess facial hair) and polycystic ovarian disease.

Recommended adult dose: 1 capsule 3 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. < br > Take with food to minimize gastric disturbance.
