Pantothenic acid (Calcium-d-pantothenate) : 250 mg

Rice powder, gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water), vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Description

Referred to as the anti-stress vitamin, pantothenic acid or vitamin B5, plays a vital role in the production of adrenal hormones and in the formation of antibodies – two necessities during times of stress. It also assists and supports the endocrine system and metabolic function.

Pantothenic acid aids in the utilization of other vitamins and helps to convert fats, carbohydrates and proteins into energy as well as rebuild tissue, muscles and organs. It is a component of coenzyme A (CoA), an essential coenzyme in a variety of reactions that sustain life. CoA is required for chemical reactions that generate energy from food. CoA is also required for the synthesis of fatty acids, which are fat molecules essential for normal physiological function.

Natural Factors Pantothenic acid provides 250 mg of this very important B vitamin per capsule, for the maintenance of good health. 1–2 capsules daily will help to relieve effects from daily stress and help the body metabolize fats, proteins and carbohydrates into usable energy.
